Common CDS Tasks

Please note that these tasks represent some of the most common tasks under Missouri’s CDS program, but they are not exhaustive. Care plans may vary based on individual needs, and additional tasks can be arranged within CDS guidelines to provide tailored support that best fits each client’s situation.

Dressing & Grooming

Help with bathing, grooming, and other personal hygiene tasks to maintain cleanliness and dignity.

Meal Preparation

Preparing balanced meals and snacks according to dietary needs.

Mobility Support

Assistance with moving around the home, including transfers from bed or chair for client safety and comfort.

Light Housekeeping

Tasks such as vacuuming, tidying, and dusting, ensuring a safe home.

Medication Reminders

Reminders to take prescribed medications on time, supporting adherence to medical routines.

Errands and Shopping

Running essential errands, such as picking up groceries and prescriptions.
